RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

RCM MANGYAN RICE will issue a replacement or refund in the unlikely exclusive cases as follows:

  • Damaged Packaging
  • Wrong delivered item
  • Expired item
  • Insects or pests found in rice, subject to condition I below

Terms and Conditions

I. NOTIFICATION

Customer must report the problem within 48 hours upon receipt of the product. Any claims made after 48 hours will not be entertained.

 Exception: Presence of insects, pests or weevils within 30 days from receipt of the product.

 As RCM MANGYAN RICE do not use any chemicals, preservatives or fumigants, our product will sometimes get weevils (like finding some insects in organic vegetables), but this can be easily washed off and safe to consume. However, if the customer insists on returning the product, he or she may send us notification within 30 days from receipt, otherwise any return, exchange or refund request will no longer be entertained regardless of the quantity bought. 

II. RETURNS

a. To be eligible for a return, the product must be unwashed and in the same condition when it was received. The product must also have tags/batch code still attached and be returned in the original packaging intact and unopened.

Finally, the product must be purchased directly from the online or e-commerce platform managed by RCM MANGYAN RICE.

b. To initiate the return, customer must file a report by sending the picture of the item via email at ryan.tmb15@gmail.com or via Messenger on Facebook or via private message on Facebook.

Any complaint posted on the comment or review section of Facebook and/or any social media accounts will not be entertained.

c. As soon as the return request has been assessed and initially approved, RCM MANGYAN RICE will:

      1. Exchange or replace the delivered product; or
      2. Offer a full refund for products with insects, pests or weevils

     If the return is due to presence of insects or weevils requested within 30 days from receipt of the product, RCM MANGYAN RICE will deliver replacement or process refund, net of the customer’s consumed rice.

     Note: Refunds are only available for returned products with insects, pests or weevils. For cases other than mentioned, RCM MANGYAN RICE will just replace subject to return eligibility in clause II.a.

    III. EXCHANGES / REPLACEMENT

    a. RCM MANGYAN RICE will deliver the replacement in 2 to 5 business days after the request has been initially approved.

    b. Our delivery personnel shall inspect the returned item on site if all conditions in II.a. above are met before handing over the replacement item to the customer. If conditions are not met, the customer is no longer eligible for a return, exchange nor refund.

    IV. REFUNDS

    a. Within 3 to 5 business days from initial approval to return, our delivery personnel will retrieve the returned item, as well as the freebies (if any), from the customer and shall inspect if all conditions in II.a. above are met. If all are met, RCM MANGYAN RICE will then proceed with the refund process.

    In cases, however, that the conditions in II.a. are not met, the customer is no longer eligible for a return, exchange nor refund.

    b. For successful returns, customer must provide complete bank account details as the refund will be processed only through bank-to-bank fund transfer regardless of the payment option originally made with the purchase.

    c. The refund will be credited to the customer’s nominated bank account within 5 to 7 business days from the retrieval date of the returned item.

    RCM MANGYAN RICE will not replace nor refund for the following:

    a. If the product does not meet customer’s expectation on the preferred taste and texture.

    Every individual has their own taste preference that differs from one another as some people prefer certain varieties (sticky) while others prefer different ones (buhaghag).
